Dr. Weiss joined Washington Avenue Pediatrics in 2001. He was born and raised in Miami, FL and went to medical school there at Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated cum laude. Dr. Weiss completed an internship at Ohio University/Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, OH, where he was selected Pediatric Intern of the Year. He then completed his pediatric residency at the Albert Einstein-Long Island Jewish/Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY. After residency, he was selected and served a year as Chief Resident of Schneider Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Weiss is board certified in pediatrics and adolescent medicine and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is married with two children.

Dr. Weiss has been named multiple times by NJ Family magazine as one of NJ's favorite Kid Docs and has been named by US News and World Report and Castle Connolly as one of America's Top Doctors. Dr. Weiss was named to New York Magazines Best Doctor list for 2016-2021.
