Dr. Weiss joined Washington Avenue Pediatrics in 2001. He was born and raised in Miami, FL and went to medical school there at Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated cum laude. Dr. Weiss completed an internship at Ohio University/Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, OH, where he was selected Pediatric Intern of the Year. He then completed his pediatric residency at the Albert Einstein-Long Island Jewish/Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY. After residency, he was selected and served a year as Chief Resident of Schneider Children’s Hospital.

Shana Kaye joined the practice in 2016. She attended medical school at New York Medical College and went on to complete her residency at Childrens Hospital at Montefiore where she graduated with honors. Shana has worked in both the community setting and academic setting where she supervised residents. Shana is board certified in Pediatrics and lives in Teaneck with her husband and three children.

Dr. Schuss graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine Yeshiva University in 1979 and has been in practice for 40 years. He completed a residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Schuss has been recognized by Castle Connolly, Inside Jersey and NJ Family and one of their best physicians for multiple years.

Dr. Marciano received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She did her residency at North Shore Hospital. Dr. Marciano lives in Teaneck with her husband and six children.

Dr. Dina (Golfeiz) Westrich earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. Prior to joining us, she had been practicing pediatrics in Manhattan. She is board certified in pediatrics and lives with her husband in Teaneck, NJ.

Dr. Christine Costa earned her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. Prior to joining us, she had been practicing Pediatrics in White Plains, NY for the past 3 years She is board certified in pediatrics and lives with her husband and two children in Rockland County,NY. Please join us in welcoming Dr Costa to the Washington Avenue Pediatrics family.

Dr. Solivan has been practicing pediatric medicine for over twenty years. She obtained her medical degree from SUNY-Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, NY and completed her pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian/Children’s Hospital of New York. Prior to her Pediatric Emergency Fellowship at NYU-Bellevue Hospital, she worked for two years at New York Presbyterian’s Department of Pediatric Intensive Care. She served as a Pediatric Emergency Department attending and faculty of the Department of Pediatrics at RWJ/Rutgers Medical School for ten years. Prior to joining Washington Pediatrics, she cared for pediatric patients for several years at PM Pediatric Urgent Care. 

Nina Epstein graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1997 and completed her pediatric residency training at Montefiore Medical Center.  After working on the faculty for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for several years, Nina worked for 15 years in General Pediatrics in Rockland County, New York . Most recently, Nina worked in a pediatric urgent care and is now thrilled to be back doing general peds.  Dr. Epstein is board certified in general pediatrics and lives in Bergenfield with her husband, daughters and son in law. 

Dr. Shira Kaye grew up in Bergenfield and is thrilled to be returning to Bergen County and to be joining the Washington Avenue Pediatrics family. She earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of Northwell Health. “Dr Shira”, as she will be affectionately called, lives in Teaneck with her husband and two daughters.

Dr. Noah Elkins, originally from Colorado, relocated to New York after working as a biomedical engineer at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. He holds a medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. He currently resides in New York with his wife and two children.
